Ohhh This looks sooo yummy! Manjula is such an amazing cook! XD Indian food is the best food on the planet.
This looks good!
@honeybear64
Bay leaf and whole pepper need to throw them away.
nice recipe
What do you do with the chili peppers and bay leaves when you serve the rice? Does one eat them or throw them away? Getting a whole pepper in a serving would seem rather powerful, and a whole bay leaf would be rather bitter. I have this question regarding whole garam masala as well.
good stuff
thank you for this recipe!
this would be a good change for me when making fried rice instead of using soy sauce all the time
Amazing recipe!!!! keep posting you are great!!!! i mean it!!!!
absolutely wonderful aunty Manjula it tasted great. So what is the soup that you had cooked with this yellow rice dish??????
Another great looking recipe, thanks for sharing
I’ll bet it smells lovely in your kitchen Manjula!
this looks amazinggg!!!
u can use a little bit of butter or olive oil so it doesnt stick to the pot, i tried it and it works for me!
i love yellow rice … now i’m hungry i want some now.. love your video’s thank you
really nice and tasty, thank you
i made this recepie and turn out great
Do we eat those chili peppers with the rice? Serious question. We eat them in Szechuan dishes but not sure about Indian dishes.
I used my non stick wok this time is it turned out pretty good- spicy and delicious! Thank you!
Indian food is the best….
I only remember one word in hindi – Saslica!
I think that is right…
mmmmmm yummy. im hungry now
The red peppers are to make a “hot chili oil” and cayenne for a extra spice. You do not need either. Most of the flavoring comes from the other ingredients
I’ve tried this 3 times already and it never turns out like yours. I need that pot that you have so that it doesn’t stick. I use a stainless steel one. I have fried the spices then added the rice and water and covered and cooked it. It was delicious this way too. I will keep trying.
What type of pot it that. It’s not tefelone is it? Thank you!
ITs a side dish to accompany any protein you want to make..its not a standalone dish
Looks good, but no protein, I think. And no vitamins. But as you said you serve it with salad. There are vitamins in it.
Do you have recipes which provide protein? I will try some of the easy rice recipes.
